Hunt giant marlin and sailfish, troll for speedsters such as wahoo, tuna and mackerel, cast surface poppers at giant trevally, go deep water jigging for monster dogtooth tuna, or enjoy the thrill of reeling in a papuan black bass. On one of our charters we’ll take you to places such as Sullivan’s Patch, Gallow’s Reef or Brook’s Banks.

Two hours drive south of Alotau and over the Cloudy Mountains lies the huge estuary system and barramundi mecca of Mullins Harbour. Characterised by pristine mangrove forest and dozens of rivers, creeks and drains, Mullins Harbour has hardly been touched by sports fishermen. Teeming with life, here you will also find mangrove jack, trevelly, queenfish, snapper and large sharks.

Fishing safaris

Jump on board our classic Queensland trawler and access some of Milne Bay’s truly untouched fishing locations such as the Sunken Barrier and Suau Coast. Still relatively unexplored by game fishermen, these areas are inhabited by a huge array of fish such as billfish and large yellowfin tuna which aren’t found in our regular tours. The discounted safari is available for a limited time and is for those not afraid to rough it.
